China's tea culture has been passed down for thousands of years.

There are certain types of tea that have remained their popularity due to their positive effects on the human body.

1) Bi Luo Chun (碧螺春)

The name of this tea directly translates to "green snail spring".

Bi Luo Chun has a history of a thousand years, being a sub-type of green tea.

2) West Lake Longjing (西湖龍井) -

The name of this tea directly translates to "west lake dragon well".

West Lake is allegedly one of the most beautiful lakes in China, blessed with all kinds of folklore that involve poignant love stories.

3) Wu Yi Yan Tea (武夷岩茶) -

The name of this tea directly translates to "rock tea from Wuyi".

This tea is grown in the Wuyi mountains of northern Fujian Province where tea trees grow in rock crevices. Wuyi tea has a combination of green tea aroma and black tea sweetness, making it one of the most popular oolong teas in China. Wuyi tea is a semi-fermented green tea. It is made in a manner that is somewhere between green tea and black tea.
